UV-A Attraction Technology

The Mo.El 398R uses a 1 x 20W energy-saving UV-A lamp with an E27 screw fitting to attract flying insects, including flies, mosquitoes, and other common kitchen pests with a coverage range of 4 to 6 metres. UV-A light is proven to be highly effective at attracting flying insects, drawing them toward the unit silently and efficiently without the use of chemicals, sprays, or noise making it the ideal insect control solution for food preparation and service environments where hygiene and food safety are the highest priority.

Adhesive Glue Board Trapping System

Unlike electric shock insect killers that can scatter insect fragments and contaminate food preparation areas, the Mo.El 398R uses a safe adhesive paper (glue board) trapping system that captures insects hygienically and contains them securely within the unit.
